Full-Text Review Process

What happens at this stage

Only papers marked Include from abstract screening move to full-text review. This is where you apply stricter criteria with the full paper available.

Steps

1. Oryn finds PDFs automatically (see [PDF Sourcing](/help/pdf-sourcing))

2. Upload any PDFs that weren't found automatically

3. Click Start Full-Text Screening

4. Review the AI's decisions using the same interface as abstract review

Tips

  • Consider switching to Balanced or Strict philosophy for full-text screening
  • The AI can now evaluate methodology, sample size, and outcome definitions, not just the abstract
  • You can override any decision, just like in abstract review
