Systematic reviews are the gold standard of medical evidence. They save lives by synthesizing research into actionable conclusions. But the process of conducting one is broken.
A typical review requires screening thousands of papers, a task that takes a team of researchers 6 to 12 months of tedious manual work. Many promising reviews never get completed because the screening burden is simply too great.
We believe AI can fundamentally change this. Not by replacing researchers, but by handling the repetitive screening work so they can focus on what actually matters.

Why we built Oryn
The idea for Oryn came from firsthand experience conducting systematic reviews in clinical research. We knew the pain: months spent reading abstracts, constant worry about missed papers, and tools that added process without solving the core problem.
We saw an opportunity to change that. Not by cutting corners, but by building AI that works alongside researchers. AI that reads every abstract with the same attention to your criteria, explains its reasoning, and gets better with every correction you make. One where AI handles the volume, but researchers stay in control.
That's the core of Oryn: a tool that respects the rigor of the process while removing the bottleneck.
